Le système de porte moulinet « Strike Grip » est uniquement développé pour les cannes « SuperStrike ».
Décalé, il permet une utilisation plus confortable d’un moulinet bait casting.
La manipulation de la canne s’en trouve facilitée.
Le porte moulinet « Strike Grip » est fabriqué en magnésium, ce qui le rend de 55 g plus léger que le fameux « Feather-Weight Champion Grip » !
L’utilisation de ce métal spécial abaisse la centre de gravité de la canne, diminue la tendance à basculer à droite ou à gauche, et transmet les vibrations du leurre beaucoup plus rapidement que de la résine.
La ferrure est en Delrin pour un raccord parfait entre le blank et le « Strike Grip ».
SS 64 MD - MIDWATER SPECIAL
Idéal pour des pêches à distance avec crankbaits, spinners et lipless.
Elastique afin de réduire les décrochage, mais très tactile pour que la moindre attaque soit transmise dans la canne.
SS 64 THL – TOPWATER HATO SPECIAL
Canne en fibre pour pencil produite sous la direction de Shizuo Hatori.
La conicité du blank est spécialement étudiée pour travailler différentes actions de leurres de surface type pencil.
SS 63 THM – TOPWATER HATO SPECIAL
Canne en fibre pour pencil produite sous la direction de Shizuo Hatori.

Strike Grip exclusively developed for Super Strike.
“Strike Grip” uses an offset-type reel seat.
Because a reel can be set at a lower position compared to a straight type,
it is easy to manipulate the thumb lever clutch even if a round type reel is set, and you can hold the reel comfortably at the time of casting.
The offset-type “Strike Grip” fits comfortably in your hand, enabling you to manipulate the rod easily and smoothly,
which is an essential part for moving your lures at will. Also, the trigger section is firmly supportable.
So, your hand is free from any friction or contact caused by unstable hold, and your fingers are not hurt even after long hours’ of use.
The “Strike Grip” made from magnesium (one of light metals) is 55g lighter than Feather-Weight Champion Grip.
When used for fishing rods, this material enhances accuracy,
especially in the front and back directions by eliminating overthrow which is caused by grip weight at the time of back or forward casting.
This reduces wavering in left and right directions considerably, enhances accuracy in all four directions, and enables you to make pinpoint casting to your target point.
Moreover, because magnesium has a property of transmitting vibrations much faster than resin materials used for ordinary grips, various information released by the lure or line can be carried to your hand instantly through the rod.
There are several ways to secure a rod blank to a handle. We developed an adapter exclusively for “Strike Grip”.
Made of Delrin, a stiff resin material superior in wear resistance, the adapter is designed in cylinder shape to maximize contact area with the ferrule.
The inner walls are evenly finished. This adapter solved all the problems related to Champion Grips, like rattle or bending.
SS-64THL – Topwater HATO Special
A glassfiber rod suitable for pencil baits, produced under the supervision of Shizuo HATORI - a legendary senior angler/plug builder of Topwater. The combination of our Strike Grip which smoothly fits hand, and long-bellied blank which is specially designed to have soft tensile strength enables you to make different plug actions, even if it is maneuvered the same way as before. HATORI says, “This rod makes me feel easy to maneuver and comfortable to use”.
SS-63THM – Topwater HATO Special
A glassfiber rod produced under the supervision of Shizuo HATORI. Because of the tensile strength and power from belly to butt section, it is suitable for big pencil baits, and propbaits & poppers which have more resistance to water than common sized pencil baits. The usability of the grip makes it easy to maneuver plugs which have larger resistance to water, from steady casting to tactful plugging.
SS-66SP – Surface Plugger
The soft tip and the maneuverability of grip gives crisp action to minnow plugs. The tensile strength from belly to butt section, which has been added to graphite’s unique characteristic of tension, makes it easier to use topwater plugs like propbaits and poppers. This is the most suitable rod for “Prop Bait MOTOYAMA Version”.
62MDL – Midwater Special
A graphite model designed for crankbaits, lipless crankbaits, and shad plugs. It is a best casting rod suitable for fishing vast shallow waters quickly with casting accuracy. During casting, you can taste the vivid moving of the lure weight through the blank. This is the best match to Depthy-Do, our original System Deep crankbaits.
SS60WM – Technical Worming
A model with powerful butt section, having well-balanced tensile strength and stiffness to match texas rig and heavy drop-shot rig. You can clearly catch the subtle bite from the fine rod tip through the extra-fast tapered blank and lightweight Strike Grip made of magnesium.
